We are
chartered by, and meet at Our weekly
programs always include fun. We work
on Scout skills such as camping, cooking, hiking, map and compass skills,
first aid, and swimming. We play
games, go on hikes and other outings, work on badges, and learn about
leadership. Our monthly
program always includes at least one outing.
We usually go camping, and always pick a location where there is
something cool to do, such as caving, backpacking, nature study, fishing,
biking, museum exploration, and so on.
By the way, the Scouts pick where we’re going to go. Did I mention that we also have fun while
doing these things? Prospective
Scouts and their families are always welcome at any of our meetings, so stop
by and check us out. During the school
year, we meet every Monday unless Worthington Schools don’t meet that day, in
which case, neither do we. During the
summer, we meet unless Monday is a holiday.

Our Troop doesn’t need a lot of rules and regulations to operate, usually the Golden Rule, Scout Oath, and Scout Law do just fine. However, like all organizations, we do have bylaws, procedures, and best practices, so feel free to check out the fine print. |
